A Huawei Angola will provide projects that aim to guarantee employment opportunities for students studying Technology, Telecommunications and Computer Science courses at Agostinho Neto University (UAN).

The information was revealed by the director of Huawei's Human Resources (HR) department, Li Xiang, reiterating that the objective is to empower young nationals with knowledge in the field of technology, with internships supported by the company.

The investment in local human capital, he said, will also provide benefits in the areas of administration and finance, in addition to engineering. The company, he added, has already worked at two universities in the country, where it selected the best candidates.

Without revealing the number of vacancies, the head of HR at the telecommunications company highlighted that vacancies are only available for third-year students, including graduates. In the strategies and partnerships designed, he said, the company intends to further explore locally developed content, in order to contribute to the growth of the Angolan economy.

Fernanda Benedito, vice-rector of Cidade Universitária, assigned to UAN, stressed that opportunities like these should always arise to minimize the difficulties faced by young people, who commit themselves to training every year.
