By the end of that year, Huíla province will have an electronic ticketing system for access to public, collective and urban transport, a program launched by the Ministry of Transport.

According to what was disclosed to journalists, the province of Huíla will be the second province in the country to have this integrated system, after it has already been implemented in Luanda, and its integration is aimed at facilitating the issuance of tickets with an extended period of validity (weekly and monthly), as well as safeguarding groups with special needs and organizing the system itself.

Although the program does not have a specific date to be implemented in that province, MINTRAS reported that it is in that month (December) that the system will be set up, through a local office, where all the technology for the purpose and training of technicians was carried out. Gracinda Gonçalves, director of the provincial office for transport, traffic and urban mobility in Huíla, informed that with the installation of this system, the Angolan Government will guarantee effective control over the operations carried out by the sub-sector of road transport.
