So began the announcement of Hyundai:
- Technology studies show future integration of mobile phone and car
- Entry and car lock via smartphones of user
- connectivity, mirror adjustment using the smarphone and the i30 “touch sensitive” switch
- This technology should reach production in 2015
Yes, Hyundai does not want to be left behind and is using a high technology at the moment: the NFC (Near Field Communication) - Near Field Communication.
Currently Hyundai cars use sensors that recognize the key, we press a button and the car opens. The same is true for starting the car, using the “start / stop” button. As if that weren't easy enough, they want the cars to be unlocked and started via Smartphone.
The first cars chosen to integrate this technology are from the New Generation i30 line.
For those who care about safety, with the NFC, each car can have a series of customized profiles, enabled only with specific smartphones - either by software or serial number of the device. Custom profiles should allow for other automatic adjustments such as seat positions and rear-view mirrors, or radio volume beyond the automatic car connection, as noted above.
