IMA defends the use of digital certificates to stop cybercrimes

Angolan institutions must use digital certificates as a measure to stop constant cybercrimes, which compromise the integrity of banking services and other sectors in the country, according to the director general of Institute of Administrative Modernization (IMA), Meick Afonso.

Finally, Meick Afonso reinforced that the implementation of “Electronic Know Your Customer”, a Public Key infrastructure for issuing digital certificates and support for electronic signatures and timestamps and the strengthening of “open banking” are some of the actions being undertaken. course.
