The diamond market has a new Information Portal called “Diamond Impact (https://impactodiamantifero.ao/)”, created with the aim of publicizing social activities aimed at communities.
The diamond social responsibility technological platform is an initiative of the company Bumbar Mining Group, which is dedicated to segmented communication in Angola, where it provides content on community sustainability projects, involving the industry in the sector at country level.
Different from other existing technological platforms, this one will only deal specifically with social projects carried out in communities for the benefit of citizens residing in the vicinity of diamond producing companies, execution of infrastructures such as schools, hospitals, projects related to sports, cultural activities, as well as other large infrastructures, all built with the result of the diamond revenues that the company registers.
Globally, information on the total number of beneficiaries of health services projected by one of the companies, job creation that the company has created and intends to create in the coming years, including the history of the company itself.

As for the accession or subscription process, it is unlimited, the Portal will have a price of accession and registration in the amount of 350 thousand kwanzas, an amount that includes the Copy Desk services, edition of articles, indication of reporting teams for the coverage of activities or social projects, as well as consultants will be made available, who will work on a rewrite of various matters, which will later be channeled on the Impacto Diamantífero Portal.
Speaking to the press, the Executive Director of Bumbar Maning, Sebastião Panzo, stressed that, on the Portal, each of the companies will communicate their social activities carried out, share Press Releases, among others.
Another differential of this Portal, he informed, will be the publication of a Quarterly Magazine, and annual award, that is, those projects that the jury will analyze with greater impact that make a difference in the communities will be elected.
"It will be a space where almost 25 companies and institutions providing services in the diamond sector can communicate about their social actions“, he stressed, highlighting that, the Portal, companies will also have as benefits, a page where it will house all the information of the projects or social reports, to be accessed from the public point of view
