Practically two years later, since yesterday, June 20, 2020, customers of the company's voice service UNITEL e MOVICEL have been the target of calls from numbers considered at risk from the following countries: Zimbabwe; Sierra Leone; Guinea-Conakry; Burundi; Mali, Liberia; Congo; Somalia; Montenegro; Serbia; Tajikistan; Latvia; Lithuania; Macedonia; Seychelles; Cuba and Vanuatu.
O The attack, also known as “touch and flee”, is an economic fraud, which essentially aims to attract users to return the phone call, with the aim of collecting revenue for international calls. It is a phenomenon that affects the mobile phone industry in several countries. Therefore, INACOM reassures users of mobile networks that there is no risk of theft of information or personal data, calling on everyone not to answer, or to return international calls to unknown numbers.
