INAPEM launches crowdfunding platform to finance startups

The National Institute of Support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) will soon launch its “Crowdfunding” platform, with the aim of facilitating startups, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to obtain financing, without having to resort to commercial banking to benefit from bank credit.

Named “INAPEM Crowdfunding”, the project was revealed by the head of the institution's Financing Department, Lukeni Araújo, during the pre-presentation of the Crowdfunding platform at the 12th edition of the International Fair (FIB), which took place from the 24th to the 27th of the current month .

According to the official, the innovative tool will allow entrepreneurs to place their products and services to access new sources of financing, and it will be accessible and easy to use, making it ideal for anyone interested in creating campaigns. crowdfunding or investing in promising projects.

Lukeni Araújo pointed out that the INAPEM Crowdfunding platform was created with the idea of ​​supporting startups, entrepreneurs and investors looking for new sources of financing for their projects. She made it known that the maximum funding limit is one million kwanzas.

"The Crowdfunding platform does not work like a commercial bank. Here, people who are interested in a particular project can raise the necessary amount for the company to function. That is, investors can browse the platform, look for interesting projects and invest in the fundraising campaigns they want to support.”, he said.

The head of the institution's Financing Department also stressed that on the platform entrepreneurs can create crowdfunding campaigns, define their financial objectives and offer rewards to investors. In his speech, Lukeni Araújo concluded that the INAPEM Crowdfunding platform aims to provide a viable financing alternative for startups and entrepreneurs in Angola. He added that the platform also aims to encourage entrepreneurship, innovation and contribution to the country's economic and social development.
