The province of Luanda, specifically the municipality of Ingombotas, will gain an electronic control system for parking vehicles (parking meters) on public roads, announced the territory's administrator, Milca Caquesse.

The leader, who was speaking on the sidelines of the 100st Municipal Community Consultation Council, stressed that the process is quite advanced and the parking fee will cost XNUMX kwanzas per hour.

"We collect the contributions and after this phase, we will move on to the final procedures, culminating in publication in the Official Gazette.”, He explained.

The municipal administrator of Ingombota clarified that, at this moment, studies are underway for the opening of the Public Tender, with a view to managing the parking meters by a specialized company.

Milca Caquesse assured that through a prior survey, carried out by the authorities, the project also foresees the integration of young “taxi drivers”, responsible for occupying parking spaces in the municipality as a way of guaranteeing employment.

"They are the ones who know the parking areas, streets and stops. That's why we want to include them in this project. ”, He stated.
Regarding public safety, in the municipality of Ingombota, the administrator guaranteed the intensification of operations to combat practices that disturb public order and tranquility in communities.
"New actions are planned for the coming days, with the aim of reinforcing the safety and well-being of residents, reflecting the authorities' commitment to promoting a harmonious environment for the population.".
