There are (at least) two new features scheduled to arrive soon at Instagram, both related to personalization hypotheses, and “mix” the creation of stickers for Stories and Reels and logo adaptations on Android devices.
The social network is testing a new tool that allows you to create personalized stickers from users' photos that can then be used in Stories and Reels.
Simply select the area of the photo and the AI tool will remove the background and create a “floating” drawn figure that can be placed on top of other content, as explained by Adam Mosseri, showing an image as an example.
The person responsible did not share any further details about the functionality, which is still being tested and available to few users.
BUT: Instagram will allow you to limit the reach of stories
The international press also reports that o Instagram on Android now has an icon that adapts to the devices' background colors, offering a more personalized appearance.
According to information shared by Mishaal Rahman on Telegram (via Android Police), the feature is available for devices running Android 13 or later.
Meta's social network thus joins other popular applications on Android that have adopted the “dynamic theme” trend over the last year – unlike “colleague” Facebook, which has not yet updated its design.
