In a statement, the Instagram, announced that it now supports photos and videos in portrait and landscape format.
Uploading a photo or videos in a square format has always been a hassle for its users and a disadvantage to the application itself. Hence, many other applications appeared, such as InstaSize, where the complete photo was reduced to the default size of Instagram, however, either it was too small or the quality was reduced (in the worst case, the two).

Now when uploading a photo to the social network, you will be able to choose which framework to give, whether you want to keep the original size, or whether you want to use the default Instagram. The aesthetics will remain the same, in the profile, the presentation remains in mosaic.

Another novelty, such as adding and adjusting the filters in the videos, will only be present in version 7.5 of the application, however, if you already have it, don't worry, the resources will be “active” over time.
