O Instagram has sought to improve the experience of exchanging private messages on its social network and, to this end, has launched a feature that allows messages exchanged to be automatically translated into the user's language.
The feature is already available to all users and is particularly easy to use. To use the automatic translation tool, simply go to your private messages and, on any message that has been sent to you, press and hold your finger on it for a few moments to display the Translate option in the small vertical menu.
BUT: Instagram launches automatic translation in 99 languages in direct messages
Once you've done this, the original message will appear at the top and the translated message will appear below.
Please note that this feature is currently only available on the Instagram app for iOS and Android, with the desktop version having to wait a little longer.
