If you're a regular Instagram user, you've probably been in the situation where you open the app, watch a video, and then your feed refreshes, causing you to stop watching the video. Well, it looks like Instagram wants to change that.
The head of the social network, Adam Mosseri, said in a question and answer session on his page Instagram that the app will change the way it updates when users open the app. From now on, users will have to drag the screen for the feed to update.

Mosseri explains that the app updated in this way “because it was trying to load new content and, because it was taking a while, it was showing something that had already been downloaded”, noting however that it was something “very annoying”.
