Manuel Man, director of the National Institute for the Development of the Information Society (INFOSI), defended that the applications of the internet of things aim to simplify production chains and improve knowledge, as well as manage the day to day of its users.
During his approach, in which the head of INFOSI, presented the theme- The internet of things said that data from remote sensors and devices must be combined with one or more systems Back-end of companies and this includes from their deposit systems, payments, customer service, CRMs, ERPs and among other applications that allow to automatically activate notifications and complete business processes or to provide a comprehensive panel of all important information.
A Internet of ThingsAlso known as IoT (Internet of Things, refers to a technological revolution that aims to connect used day-to-day items with the worldwide network.
According to Manuel Homem, there has been some investment by industries and governments so that the technologies of the Internet of Things are directed to accepted standards in all sectors and that allow interoperability between devices.
"Users must view the internet of things as a reality and as something inevitable, as the mobility trend and the ease of access to cloud solutions provide greater use and integration of technology”Said the director of INFOSI, Manuel Homem.
Gustavo Soares, marketing director of Global Seguros, said that some insurance companies already have some online services available, which have helped in the relationship between clients and national insurance companies.
The Internet of Things, has several advantages like the connection of all objects, which in itself is an important idea. This connection brings clear benefits to our society, allows a greater control and understanding of how the systems interact and provides a better quality of life to all.
