According to the president of INTERPOL, Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, speaking after an audience with the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, Angola is doing a “good job” in leading issues related to the fight against cyber crimes. in Africa.

Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi assured the Vice-President of the Republic of the organization's continued support for the country in the fight against crimes, especially cyber crimes, as well as for other States in the African region.

This, he highlighted, is due to the fact that “transnational crime affects everyone and the best way to combat it is within the framework of great collaboration between all countries".

It should be noted that Angola hosts this Tuesday (03), in Luanda, the 26th African Regional Conference of Interpol, whose motto is the exchange of experience and strengthening international police cooperation.

During the event, participants will address the current challenges of transnational crime, the enforcement of laws on terrorism, cybercrime, financial crime and corruption, human trafficking and maritime piracy.

The Interpol African Regional Conference will be attended by 350 delegates from African countries, the United States of America, Canada, the Kingdom of Great Britain, Australia, Qatar, Serbia, Guatemala and Brazil.
