Angolan inventor Paulino Calei Domingos developed software for evaluating the performance of companies providing public services, in order to contribute to the effectiveness of the Executive's policies in meeting the needs of the population, within the scope of e-governance.
The technological innovation has already been approved by the Provincial Government of Namibe and the Methodist University of Angola (UMA), where it was created with the aim of contributing to the resolution of social issues and user satisfaction.
Speaking in an interview with ANGOP, the young inventor emphasizes that the software was designed to assess the degree of resolution of social issues by legal entities, such as the provision of essential public services and responding to people's real needs.
According to the inventor, from a political point of view, the model is an important tool to support data-based decision making.
BUT: Angolan government will invest in electronic governance
In the economic domain, the mechanism aims to optimize the distribution of resources, boost the economic forecast and attract investments for the sustainable growth of the country, particularly the province of Namibe.
Paulino Domingos also recalled that the project was part of his final course work to obtain the academic degree of master in Computer Engineering, with the theme “Fuzzy system applied to the search for Feedback on governance in the province of Namibe”.
"The model developed uses the BOCR dimensions (Benefit, Opportunity, Cost and Risks), associated with the degree of citizen satisfaction and it presented satisfactory results, reaching an accuracy rate of around 70% in its prediction.”, said Paulino.
