Two brothers created an application that gives Angolan civil society the opportunity to locate an ATM with cash without leaving home, called “Scanner ATM”, with the aim of simplifying the lives of citizens.

According to the app's inventors, speaking to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), via See Angola, reported that the initial idea was “create an app for a supermarket”, but taking into account “the daily needs of the Angolan population” decided to create a more useful application, in order to facilitate the withdrawal of money, and of course, not to lose too much in queues.

“we have a lot of difficulties in raising money, so we decided to invest first in this application”, said the young innovator.

According to that national radio station, the referred project is authored by twin brothers, 21 years old, and who are currently taking the Administration course in Marketing and Business Management, which culminated in the “Scanner ATM” project.

Speaking of the functionality and operability of the application, the inventors explained that when users enter the platform, they will have access to their location, in order to find the nearest banks.

“as soon as you access the application, it will give you your exact location and the bank closest to you, if by chance you select a bank without money or paper you have the option to save it, and as soon as there is a change you will receive a notification” .

It was also revealed that users can continue looking for ATMs with cash and paper, and once they find it, they can choose the 'route route' option, if they don't know the site, to be shown the way.

“If you want a flood outlook, we have a 'status' button that gives you a flood outlook. We have more options such as the search for detailed banks where you can search for banks and the search by zone”, concludes the creator to RNA.

At that moment, the application is already registered with the National Service for Copyright and Related Rights, and where they inform that they have encountered some complications in continuing with the platform, appealing for sponsorships to finish the project.

  1. Having ideas is no longer important. What people want is to practice and use the application which in my point of view will help many ATM users. Congratulations young inventors.

  2. Excelent idea.
As for the journalist in this article, attention is written citizens and non-citizens.
