A Internet Technologies Angola (ITA), one of the largest operators in the country's telecommunications sector, announces the expansion of its Wireless network to five other provinces in Angola, namely Bié, Malanje, Uíge and Cuanza Norte.
This expansion aims to ensure that more economic agents have access to telecommunications services to support their activities, regardless of geographical location.
Rolf Mendelsohn, ITA's CEO, said that, “ITA's actions are all aimed at building infrastructures that go further and guarantee reliability and high data transmission capacity for its clients throughout the national space. This expansion of coverage reflects the company's commitment to achieve leadership in the Angolan market in the technology sector through the provision of integrated telecommunications solutions involving Internet, Voice, VPN and Data Center".
Currently, ITA invests in the construction of its second Data Center. The new infrastructure, which will be operational from July 2019, will double the capacity of the Data Center services offer to the Angolan market, namely Colocation, Hosting and Cloud Services solutions.
According to Rolf Mendelsohn, by providing technological services of international quality to the market, "ITA is supporting economic development and contributing to the process of diversification of the national economy."
