ITEL receives didactic material for communications tests donated by Paratus Angola

Paratus – Internet Technologies Angola – today delivers more than 50 routers to the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL) with the aim of increasing the collection of didactic material for the institution's students e. thus, continue with the advancement of transformation and digital inclusion in Angola, according to the Executive's plan. This action is part of the scope not only of the company's social responsibility, but also of encouraging training and first jobs in the area of ​​telecommunications and infrastructure in Angola, with a view to producing positive results for the country.

“We are a socially responsible organization, we are concerned with the development and personal and professional training of communities and as a telecommunications and information technology company, we want our staff to be part of the vision of connecting Angola to the world with excellent infrastructure. In this sense, we continue to work to create better technological conditions, both for education and for institutions as a whole”, according to the General Director of Paratus Angola, Francisco Pinto Leite. In this way, he continues “we thank ITEL for continuing to believe in our long-lasting partnership, in supporting the learning process of young people, in prior contact with real situations, which will help them to develop important skills for real tests in telecommunications network environments, thus building dedicated and qualified professional staff”.

As educators, we thank Paratus for respecting education. Helping our institution increase the collection of practical didactic material is certainly a huge step towards creating greater digital literacy and also better professionals”, said Cláudio Gonçalves, Director of the Telecommunications Institute. “ITEL recognizes the importance of laboratory practices, as a way of simulating real environments in its classes, in which our students will be inserted in the near future. Providing them with these tools is another advantage so that in their professional life they are trained and become professionals of excellence”, confirms Cláudio Gonçalves.

A donation of Telecommunications and Information Technology materials, valued at approximately 3.500.000,00 Kwanzas, results from an internal program of digital inclusion by Paratus Angola and the sustainable transformation of material, with ways to positively impact the communities in which it operates .
