The news spread by the New York Times reinforces some rumors that we have been reading here and there. According to the newspaper, Apple is already testing a smart watch that has iWatch name (expected something different?). Journalist Nick Bilton, the article's writer, claims that the information comes right from inside Apple through an employee. IWatch is sure to feature a version of a pure iOS or iOS compatible operating system that will allow you to communicate with all devices in the Apple family, especially iPhone and iPad.
According to other rumors Apple with the collaboration of Corning, the same company that makes the famous Gorilla Glass, is making a new glass for iWatch that will be flexible, curved, touch sensitive and will be one tenth of a millimeter thick, its name ? Willow Glass. The goal would be for the glass to extend over most of the watch strap, or all the way around, without this making it heavier.
