Space exploration is the set of human efforts aimed at exploring space and its celestial bodies, this time, the arrival to Mars is the next major objective of space exploration. Bringing humans to the red planet is already seen as an important point for the species' survival.

As such, SpaceX, like other space agencies, develops technology to achieve this feat. In a video now presented, the company of the well-known Elon Musk shows more details of the spacecraft that will make the manned trip to Mars.

The "Gateway to Mars” offers a little more information about SpaceX's efforts and developments. This video is a little bit of what was already presented in a documentary on Netflix, Countdown: The Inspiration4 Mission in Space.

The ship that will take humans to Mars

SpaceX has already tested the Starship in a series of short high-altitude flights. The ship, powered by six Raptor engines, performed well in the air, but crashed at the end of the mission while trying to land upright until the last flight in May, when SpaceX finally achieved a successful landing.

The company is currently awaiting permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to launch the Starship atop its new Super Heavy rocket that will send the spacecraft on its first orbital flight. Assuming the FAA gives the green light, SpaceX will launch the orbital mission from its facilities in Boca Chica, Texas.
