According to the website Steamfirst, internally Bungie considers the recent beta version of Destiny plus an alpha version that something else. Supposedly the version of the game that will be released to the consoles will be called the 0.9 beta and it will only go to the 1.0 version when it is released to the PC in the middle of March of 2015 and you have all the errors fixed.
The PC version will also be released by Activision, will run at 1080p resolution, 60 frames per second and will be available on Steam. Support for 2k / 4k will be added later.
