With more than 10 years, the series Call of Duty has become one of the most profitable and well-known in videogame history. It has already led us to so many temporal periods and universes that we are always eager to know when and where it will lead us to follow. Advanced Warfare is the newest universe of Call of Duty and it starts in 2052.

Follow the first trailer of the game, where we learn that it will have the participation of the acclaimed actor Kevin Spacey:

Being the first to be developed in the new 3 cycle years, CoD: AW does seem like a breath of fresh air to the series that in recent years seemed to be needing.

In Advanced Warfare we control soldier Mitchell, who will have his voice dubbed by Troy Baker, one of the most well-known actors in the gaming industry. You should have heard him if you already played The Last of Us (Joel) or Bioshock Infinite (Booker).

CoD: AW uses a new game engine and the versions for Xbox One, PS4 and PC are being developed by Sledgehammer Games. A different studio (not yet confirmed) is responsible for the Xbox versions 360 and PS3. A Wii U version has not yet been confirmed.

We also know that unlike the previous games in the series, this time we will control a single character and we can earn points in each mission that can be used to update our exoskeleton. With it, we can climb walls with magnetic gloves, make high heels, wear optical camouflage (almost the same as in Black Ops 2), hover in the air, etc.

As for the arsenal, we will have several grenades at our disposal and some weapons will use energy instead of traditional ammunition. We still have access to the Pitbull, and no, I'm not talking about the dog, but a vehicle that works suspended in the air, with design based on another real life. It is known that to make the world more realistic, design experts for films, military, scientists and futurists were consulted by Activision.

There is no information yet about multiplayer, but we already know that CoD: AW will have some sort of cooperative mode and even Activision has confirmed that it is committed to eSports. So we should have some good news soon enough.
