It could be said that before the PS4 and Xbox One conferences during E3 the two consoles seemed more or less balanced in attractiveness to the public, however yesterday was almost fatal for the Xbox One. Not that PS4 has shown something new in regards to the console, or revealed that it will launch the best game ever to be made in this decade, none of that, Sony kept things simple and with 3 scams practically gave a KO to Xbox One.
The first blow: PS4 will not need to be connected to the internet to work, or better, at no time will the owner of a PS4 need to pay for an internet service to use his console. There were rumors that PS4 would need to be connected to the internet to be able to activate the games bought, but after all it was just a rumor.
The second blow: PS4 games can be borrowed or resold at will, that is, when a player buys a PS4 game the game will be entirely yours and you can do whatever you want with it, less piracy of course. Once again, there was a rumor circulating that Sony was being pressured by game producers to implement restrictions on the resale or loan of games. And to clear up any doubts regarding how to borrow PS4 games, Sony even released this video that we had already published, but it is worth reviewing:
Third blow: PS4 will cost 399 Euros and Xbox One will cost 499 Euros (more or less 510USD and 635USD respectively, converted at the exchange rate of our National Bank). More words for what? Two products of relatively equal quality with a difference of 125 Usd in price, ie the Xbox One will be 20% more expensive than the PS4. It is a case of saying Finish Him!
The Sony conference did not focus only on those 3 devastating hits. This conference finally revealed the appearance of PS4. This new console looks like the result of the cross between the Xbox One and the first PS2, which strange as it seems has generated a modern look and even quite pleasant for many people. This console also takes advantage of its competition by being able to have the same processing power and graphics in a thinner and lighter box.
At the end of the Sony conference Microsoft had only one advantage: it revealed in which month its console will be released while Sony continues to say only "during the holiday season". A small snag that almost does not take into account the seriousness of the blows that PS4 has given the Xbox One. Now awaits the answer from Microsoft, who is after all a giant among the companies worldwide and is not used to losing so nearly as absolute his battles. The upcoming messes promise, but for now PS4 takes a huge advantage.
