As has been the custom of 3 in 3 months, the MK Titans, the largest fighting game community in Angola, is organizing yet another great Mortal Kombat 9 tournament on the 2nd of March. To participate, just be present on the date of the tournament at Natgil's door at 12:00 with 1000 kz to sign up.
This tournament for being the first major tournament of the year will have the particularity of not having assigned seed points. This means that the games will be drawn in a totally random fashion.
Here are the rules of this tournament:
1 ::: Joysticks :::
I know that our sponsors sponsor the controls, but not always the same ones are reliable, to avoid the constant cry of "the command is not good" the competitor is advised to take his own command for reasons of preferences and difficulties of adaptation, either the Directional Pad (play3 Command) or Xbox, Hitbox, or Stick.
2 ::: Configure Button :::
Many wrestling games have the ability to configure controls, and many competitors have their preferences, some because the strategy works much better, is allowed to any competitor, long before its combat begins, set the buttons to your liking.
3 ::: Button Check :::
Button Check is allowed before the start of any set in any part of the bracket, players give them the opportunity to test the commands to see if it works under conditions.
Note: The player should be comfortable with the command, since it is allowed to test even the most difficult movements like combos or specials, no matter which player it is.
4 ::: Stage Picking ::::
Stages that disrupt the mechanics of the game are banned and can not compete in it, unless it is a desire of both players.
The competitor who misses the first match of the set, is allowed to choose the Stage that is within the regulation of the rules of the game.
In Mortal Kombat the following Stages are banned.
Hell Stage: Extremely small, and does not run the 60fps, being stupidly random, affects the execution precision of more technical characters due to the constant lag.
Kratos Stage: At a certain height, the Stage shakes by dropping combos, which compromises high-level tournaments.
Wasteland: Wasteland has any glitch that causes Jump Kicks to take characters from the air or in a combo to fail too often, affecting players who depend on Jump kick to do combos or anti-air.
The Street: The Street has a background where random animations (Cars and people) pass in front of the game screen allowing a tactic of masked projectiles when they pass ahead to gain advantage over the other players.
5 ::: Sets, Character Picking :::
Choosing a character in a tournament is similar to the arcade style, competitors will initially run a set (session) from 2 to 3 games (only if necessary), whereby winning 2 games in the set advances in the bracket, and what you lose goes to the losers bracket or is eliminated if you are already in the losers bracket (Also called Elimination Bracket).
During the Set, the player who wins 1 of the games has to keep the player, what to lose has the right to change the character if he / she deems it necessary.
Banned characters are not allowed.
6 ::: Double Elimination :::
It is the System of Brackets that will simulate who your competitors will fight in the tournament, it is called Double Elimination because to lose in the tournament each of the players must be eliminated twice.
That is, one in the Initial Bracket (the Dos Winners) and one in the Elimination Bracket (the one of the losers).
All players start on the Initial Bracket, and when they lose the set, they are sent to the Elimination Bracket, where they can no longer lose or otherwise be eliminated.
The Dual Elimination Bracket End is made when only one player remains in the Initial Bracket and one player in the Elimination Bracket.
For the Elimination Bracket Player to win the tournament, which comes from the elimination bracket, this player, you have to reset the first set, that is, have to eliminate the finalist of the initial bracket twice to become champion, one to get you out of the initial bracket by also putting it in the elimination bracket, and finally win again to eliminate the competitor.
But the initial bracket player you only have to win one set to the elimination bracket playerto consecrate himself champion.
Set means sessions, in a tournament the initial rounds make up a set of 3 fights, 3ª being the tiebreaker.
In the top 8 or Set 5 fights 3 fights to win, the remaining two fights serve to break the points achieved on the set.
The score of the fight is not counted in rounds, but in combat, if P1 wins P2 once, despite having won 2 rounds, the result will always be (1-0) in favor of the winner.
Glitchs that compromise the system are extremely banned and can not be used in any way because they compromise the game
