Young people from Uíge receive free training on VOIP Telephony

More than fifty young people from the province of Uíge benefited from free training on VOIP telephony, cybersecurity, digital marketing and social media management, in an initiative of the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (ITEL).

The training cycle lasted one week in the Technological Center of Uíge, with graduates from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication (MINTCS).

According to the center's director, Virgílio Cordeiro João, the material and technological conditions were created in three classes, with emphasis on computers connected to the Internet and other equipment necessary for the activity.

Cláudio Gonçalves, general director of ITEL, informed that the activity is part of the Youth Training Plan and the holding of the first edition of the Provincial Programming Marathon.

He also underlined that technological training covers the 18 provinces of the country, having already taken place in Malanje, Huambo and Bié.
