First stone laid for Luanda Science and Technology Park

The first stone for the construction of the Luanda Science and Technology Park, a project that is valued at more than 35 million dollars.

The technological infrastructure will accommodate some companies and respond to the challenges of the system for promoting science and technology research, informed the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Maria do Rosário Bragança.

The project is divided into several aspects, including the offer of two-year scholarships to girls from needy families to attend secondary education in the areas of science and technology, engineering and mathematics, physical and biological sciences and health, explained the minister.

The program also funds the provision of laboratories in the areas of science and technology in the Angolan provinces 18, human training and postgraduate training, with master's, doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships.
