Today opened the first Network School 42 in the country, one of the best in programming in the world and which does not require the presence of teachers, in which you learn in a different way based on teamwork and practical projects (gamification), rather than theoretical training, earning points and passing through level up as if it were a game.

The institution is open to all interested parties aged 17 or over, with or without a diploma or previous training in programming.

One of the main highlights of Network School 42 is that the entire service is free, that is, from the selection processes to the completion of the apprenticeship, there are no tuition fees, fees or any other charges that could make the student's future unfeasible. Not a single kwanza is spent because the student is sponsored by companies or committed patrons with the purpose of sharing to evolve.

42 Luanda's learning method is completely face-to-face, thus creating direct contact with other students, which is called peer learning. Each one contributes and, through the exchange of knowledge, everyone advances.

How does the selection process take place?

1. Online registration: The first step is to register online on the official website of 42 Luanda, by clicking on here.

2. Check-in (Online Logic Games): After signing up, you will go through a series of online logic games. These games were created to test your logical thinking and problem solving skills.

3. Piscine (Pool): If you are successful in the logic games, you will be invited to participate in “Piscine”, an intensive programming bootcamp that lasts about a month. During Piscine, you'll learn the basics of programming and work on hands-on projects. The purpose of Piscine is to see how you behave under stress, how you work in a team and how you solve problems. No prior programming experience is required to participate.

4. Admission: At the end of Piscine, participants are evaluated based on their dedication, progress, teamwork skills and ability to learn independently. If you are successful, you will be invited to join the school as a full-time student.

It should be noted that at 42 Luanda there are no traditional teachers or lectures. There is an online platform that provides all the challenges and projects for students. This platform cuts across the entire learning experience at 42 Luanda. There is also a staff of mentors and alumni who can help guide and advise students. But ultimately, it's your effort, your research, and working with your peers that will help you overcome the challenges.
