The province of Lunda Sul has grown in terms of users with access to ICT, according to the general population census, conducted in 2014. In the province of Lunda Sul 190.666 people have access to information and communication technologies (ICT).

It seems that this growth continues to happen, since 1300 school students primary schools in the province of Lunda Sul benefit from digital classes in a project called Profuturo, which aims to teach children to manage tablets connected to the Internet, for the promotion of technological knowledge.

According to Father Manuel Muliuli (Responsible for managing Catholic schools in the region), digital classes are provided by 48 teachers trained to deal with matters related to information and communication technologies for primary school children.

As for the municipalities of Cacolo, Dala e Muconda technical and human conditions are being created to later implement the project. The priest highlighted the importance of students learning to use computers and being in contact with technological tools at a young age, which will facilitate the integration of children in the globalized world in a gradual way.

Will this initiative cover every country?
