Projects such as the satellite communication network ANGOSAT and the Earth Observation Program as structuring are promoting the different agendas, themes of digital transformation, positioning Angola as a driving force to accelerate the single digital market in Africa and improve the business environment and the technological modernization of public services, according to with the words of the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication(MINTTICS), Engineer Manuel Homem.
According to the official, who was making the opening speech of the “Angola Tech Hub Forum 2022”, under the motto “Angola's leadership for digital transformation in Africa”, he also said that these national projects are “massify digital inclusion as indispensable tools for the purposes of co-observation and citizen participation in the decision-making process, as well as economic and social well-being".

Based on all these incentives, stressed Manuel Homem, the Angolan Government will continue to invest in structuring and inducing projects such as the creation of the television broadcasting industry and market within the framework of the digital communication strategy, the national broadband infrastructure accepted in submarine and terrestrial fiber optics, the national satellite transmission infrastructure of the ANGOSAT satellite communication network project and the Earth Observation Programme, within the framework of the strategy of the National Space Program Management Office (GGPEN).
"We will continue to promote the sustainable development of public use telecommunications services and formulate guidelines that will allow, in the medium and long term, to satisfy the basic needs of populations, companies and all other users throughout the national territory.”, concluded Manuel Homem.
It should be noted that the “Angola Tech Hub Forum 2022” was an event organized by MINTTICS, in partnership with Internet Technology Angola (ITA), and in accordance with the theme proposed for this year by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), where the objective of the event was to reflect on the potential and development of ICT in Angola, seeking new business solutions.
