Messenger added administrator privileges to groups

At the end of 2017 the WhatsApp said that launching a feature will give more powers to group administrators, but it seems a slight change first comes to the Messenger groups.

Amidst criticism of how the platform handles customer information, the Facebook has made changes to how users can participate in group conversations in Messenger. The company said on Wednesday that it is now necessary for people to join a chat have to be approved by an administrator.

What will this be useful for?

Facebook says this will be useful for large group conversations where all members may not be online. Administrative skills can also be adjusted between users. The cats groups support up to 250 members. Users can be invited with a new shareable link.

From now on, anyone in a group chat can create a personalized invitation link and share it with someone who would like to join the conversation. People who click on the link will automatically be added to the group if approvals are disabled or will be added as well the administrator approves the request.

New features for Messenger are great, but Facebook has other security issues that also need to work. So we hope that the social network pay attention to these aspects as well.
