A MetaGoogle, the company behind Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, will begin using user interactions with its artificial intelligence to target ads and suggest personalized posts.

The changes are part of the new privacy policy, which will come into effect on December 16, 2025. According to the company, conversations with AI may be analyzed to better understand each person's interests, helping to show more "relevant" content and ads.

Furthermore, Meta confirmed that it will also use publicly available information from Threads to train its AI models. However, users will have the option to prevent their data from being used for this purpose.

The move reinforces the tech giant's commitment to integrating artificial intelligence into its main platforms, but reignites the debate about privacy and the use of personal data online.
