Microsoft officially announced Visual Studio 2019

Recently Microsoft has announced that Microsoft Office 2019 will soon be released, but apparently not all users of the Windows operating system will be happy with the new information provided by Microsoft, ensuring that Office 2019 will only work on Windows 10.

But now Microsoft has just announced Visual Studio 2019, the next version of its integrated development environment (IDE). The launch deadline will be shared “in the coming months”, with the company simply promising “to deliver Visual Studio 2019 quickly and iteratively”.

What's new in this version?

Last month at the Build 2018 Developer Conference, Microsoft released two new Visual Studio views: IntelliCode e Live Share. The first one uses artificial intelligence to offer smart suggestions that improve code quality and productivity, and the second allows developers to collaborate in real-time with team members who can edit and debug directly from Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.

These two features will not be the exclusive ones of Visual Studio 2019. In fact, Microsoft has not yet submitted all details of the next version. All we have is a name (which presumably confirms the year of release), some early tips on improvements, and confirmation to expect more from Artificial Intelligence.

Looking forward to testing this version?
