Sharing the content of your smartphone with your television can be a simple task if you have a high-end Smart TV. But top-of-the-range televisions have few affordable prices for most ordinary citizens.

Big companies are aware of this, and Google has chromecast, a device that lets you share multimedia content from your Smartphone to your TV. Apple has achieved something similar with its TV, the Apple TV which in addition to allowing the direct search of content online, also serves to receive content from mobile devices (iPhone and iPad).

What about Microsoft?

With the expansion of devices with Windows Phone, Microsoft needs to find ways to attract more users and to cover this segment of TVs has announced the wireless adapter to send photos and videos to the TV.

With this adapter, devices with Windows 8.1 and Android will be able to share content with TVs that have an HDMI input. This allows users to watch movies and presentations on a large scale without the need to use third party applications.
