Honestly speaking I don't agree with that, excellence and exclusivity must be individual experiences and with this step by Microsoft I don't see how such an act will help to bring more audience to “our” platform, the Microsoft keyboard is undoubtedly the best, intuitive and with good spacing ... In short it is a pleasure to use it on any Lumia.
The Windows keyboard 10 Mobile also has the function described above, but the function for iOS is different (strange to start but I found more beautiful) and also works for both sides thus allowing a quick and allegedly more fluid typing; Already the Microsoft Windows version 10 Mobile (MW10M) simply changes the keyboard to the corners and creates a more compact version of it (without the lovely curl like iOS).
In addition to the “one hand” mode, the rest of the keyboard features on iOS are similar to the MW10M including the wordflow, the way to choose the emoticons and the suggestions of words. A version for Android is for the middle / end of the year.
