A Microsoft is giving you the chance to check features and changes in Office 2019. The software maker began by making its first Office 2019 preview available to enterprise customers, with features typically found in the Office 365 from Microsoft. Office 2019 will include the common Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook client applications along with the server versions of Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype or Whatsapp for Business.
What about Mac users?
A separate 2019 Office for the Mac version will also be available for the MacOS. Updates include new and improved ink features in applications such as the moveable pencil case, pressure sensitivity, tilt and ink repetition effects; more powerful data analysis in Excel, such as new formulas, new charts and integration with Power BI; and sophisticated presentation features in PowerPoint, such as Morph e Zoom.
Microsoft plans to launch Office 2019 later this year, and will aim to reach corporate customers who are not subscribed to Office 365. Companies can sign up to try this version following the link.
