Microsoft bans use of ChatGPT among workers

Microsoft has decided to temporarily ban the use of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool ChatGPT among workers, according to CNBC.

The publication states that the decision was taken due to “security and data concerns” and that it was shared on the company's internal website. Additionally, corporate devices also saw access to Chat GPT be blocked.

BUT: ChatGPT now performs internet searches in real time

The case is not unique and the decision was taken by most other technology companies. However, given that Microsoft is one of the biggest investors in OpenAI, it's a slightly more curious decision.

Please note that, however, access to ChatGPT will have already been reestablished by Microsoft.
