It is no longer news to anyone that the first Angolan satellite to be in orbit in the third quarter of 2017. Official information ensures that the construction of Angosat was already 58% completed, and should be at a much more advanced stage at this time.
During the lecture on Angosat 1, carried out by Universidade Gregório Semedo, the holder of the folder José Carvalho da Rocha (Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology), stressed that Angosat 1 represents the beginning and other sectors must present ways and projects to monetize and ensure the quality of services, where the major operators are not yet, responding to the open entrepreneurship program for the telecommunications sector.
With the entry into orbit of the first Angolan satellite, planned for 2017, will make the signal of information and communication technologies to cover all national territory, which will stimulate the services of operators in areas where there is no signal or it is precarious, because the signal from Angosat 1 will provide other business to the country for having a lighting capacity from South Africa to Italy.
According to the minister, the small companies of the sector are still called to develop the nano-satellites that will give punctual answers to the areas of agriculture, meteorology, among other areas that contribute to the resolution of social problems.
