The Minister of the Interior, Eugénio César Laborinho, in company with a Delegation of its highest leaders, went to China, on an official Service mission, to assess the evolution of the systems that the CEIEC company is developing for the implementation of the Integrated Center for Public Security

During his work, the Angolan delegation visited the CEIEC headquarters, which was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of that company. Aspects related to the inauguration of the first phase of the CISP were discussed. China National Electronics Import and Export Coporation (CEIEC) develops a strategic partnership with the Ministry of the Interior, which, among others, consists in the creation, construction, implementation and technological solutions that will complement the Integrated Public Security System.

According to Eugénio Laborinho, CISP is a structure that will assist the defense and public security organs in maintaining public order and tranquility.

Its construction, in the first instance, will cover the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Huambo and Huíla until reaching the other provinces of the country.

For the highest entity of MININT, under the guidance of the President of the Republic, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, the inauguration of the first phase of CISP is already scheduled for the current month.

Eugénio Laborinho also said that the Public Security center will be regulated by a specific law, that is, the law on the Video and Surveillance System, approved by the National Assembly, with only its entry into force. It should be noted that CISP aims to expand the capacity for intervention, action, responses and clarification of actions of a criminal nature.

The Ministry of the Interior has some difficulties, with regard to the prevention and fight against crime, we must immediately change this situation, as well as we would like CEIEC to be able to leave its mark in Angola, in the field of public security, stressed the Interior Minister.
