MINTTICS and Huawei train young people in telecommunications and information technologies

More than 100 young people from various medium technical institutes and university institutes benefited from a training cycle in the area of ​​telecommunications and information technologies, as a result of the partnership agreement between the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS), and the multinational Huawei.

The training that took place in the new Huawei Technology Park in Talatona, focused on the HCIA DATACOM (preparation for certification), training that aims to contribute to the technological development of the country, promoting the knowledge of young talents and specialists in technology.

According to what was revealed, MINTTICS will continue to invest in training young people to build a promising and sustainable future in Angola, and where the provision of training programs and qualification in technology is essential to strengthen the skills and competencies of young people, enabling them to face the challenges of the labor market and boost the country's economic and social development.

At the end of the course, participants received a voucher to take the certification exam free of charge, where the educational institutions benefited include the Instituto Superior Técnico de Angola (ISTA), the Instituto Superior de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (ISUTIC), the Cabinet of Management of the National Space Program (GGPEN), the Lusíada University of Angola, the Methodist University of Angola, the University of Belas-Unibelas, the Tocoista Polytechnic Institute (ISPT), the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL), the Medium Industrial Institute de Luanda (IMIL), the Medium Commercial Institute of Luanda (IMCL), the Alda Lara Medium Polytechnic Institute, the Simione Mucune Medium Industrial Institute, the Cazenga Medium Polytechnic Institute (IMPC), the Sambizanga Medium Polytechnic Institute, the Faculty of Engineering of Angola, the Technical University of Angola (UTANGA) and the Independent University of Angola (UnIA).

To inform that more than 10 thousand young people will be trained in information technologies in the Huawei Technology Park in Angola in the near future, in the most varied specialties of telecommunications and information technologies, without forgetting that the trainees will receive content from the centers of the Chinese company in South Africa and China, until the year 2027.

Training in the technological park of Huawei consists of a mix of theoretical and practical classes on 5G, data communication, network engineering and information storage in the clouds.

The center has four training rooms, with 32 seats each, three residential buildings for 180 employees, a cafeteria for XNUMX people and a indoor playground.

The institution, which provides 120 jobs, mostly Angolan, has a Data Center and 3G, 4G and 5G Telephony Solutions and solar panels for homes and businesses.

The infrastructure also offers energy solutions for prepaid systems, videoconferencing, artificial intelligence and smart home (distance connection of equipment).
