1789

The second edition of the programming workshop for beginners, called Django Girls, in the city of Matola, province of the Mozambican capital, Maputo.

This event once again boosted the next generation of programmers, through exposure to easy ways to create a website, whether personal or commercial.

According to what was revealed, the training cycle consisted of building websites and using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and Django Framework in a basic way. Alongside the websites, the workshop aims to be an open space for sharing experiences and stories.

BUT: Mozambique. Women trained in Information and Communication Technologies

It should be noted that Django Girls is a one-day workshop on programming in Python and Django focused especially on women, with the aim of leveraging programming among women.

The Workshop is really for beginners, where it is not necessary to have some programming knowledge. However, if you have some technical knowledge (if you know something about HTML or CSS) you can also register to the program.
