[Mozambique] Foreigners can now use the eVisa in the country

1576

All the conditions have already been created so that foreigners who want to go to Mozambique can apply for entry visas online, with entry on the eVisa technological platform, thus facilitating tourism, business and investment by this class.

The platform is of Mozambican origin and was created by the local Executive, in response to one of the biggest gaps that the country has in terms of international competitiveness.

According to the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Amílcar Tivane, the eVisa platform allows, through a web page (evisa.gov.mz), obtaining a pre-approval of visas for foreign citizens in the tourism and business categories (to attend meetings, conferences and research).

Speaking at a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, which aimed to address issues related to the Package of Economic Acceleration Measures (PAE), the deputy minister informed that foreigners who want to obtain a pre-approval of visas in the categories of investments and frontier can use this platform.

It consists of an easy-to-use graphic interface where the foreign visitor can enter all the necessary information for applying for a visa, through a form with the purpose of the visit.

It is also the channel for presenting the necessary documentation for issuing a visa, namely a copy of the passport, travel ticket and proof of accommodation by uploading digital files.

After submitting the necessary information and documentation, the National Migration Service (SENAMI) receives and processes the request, communicating the approval or disapproval through the same digital platform within a period of five days.

If the request is approved, the foreigner receives a digital pre-authorization document to travel and presents it to the SENAMI official at the point of entry into Mozambique.

After paying the fee at the chosen border, SENAMI issues a visa granting entry into the country.

  1. Hi guys.
    Osório from Mozambique here.
Look, I ask you to review the information about the eVisa. Not Visa Card but eVisa, platform for visas.

    Thank you

  2. Whoever let the intern publish an article, it seems that whoever wrote it doesn't know anything about the subject, they got the payment visa mixed up with the visa visa
