[Mozambique] “Girl Move Academy” launches second edition to stimulate the talent of young women

Registrations for the second edition of the digital platform “Rise & Shine” took place recently, aimed at activating the talent of young Mozambican women aged between 17 and 28, high school finalists, university students or graduates.

Created by the Non-Governmental Organization “Girl Move Academy”, in the first edition of the project, around five thousand girls from all over Mozambique participated in the program, from which they acquired new knowledge, including how to use their talents to activate communities for the common good.

According to what was revealed, the program comprises 3 phases: Rise – focusing on Female Empowerment to recognize and activate talent and purpose through a journey of self-discovery🇧🇷 Shine – focusing on the development of personal and socio-emotional skills through the activation of communities with the sharing of talents and learning in sisterhood circles (sisterhood circles)🇧🇷 and Move – focusing on entrepreneurship and creating an Impact Career defined the next steps for the future.

For Alexandra Machado, founder and CEO of Girl MOVE Academy, this organization believes in the potential and talent of young Mozambican women, and defends the role of female talent in transforming the world.

"The time has come to create more opportunities for all Mozambican girls and women to gain tools to be able to activate circles and sisterhood that aim to positively impact their communities“, said the CEO.

After the success of the first edition, the digital experience of the organization Girl MOVE Academy is back to activate the talent of young Mozambican women between 17 and 28 years old.
