A group of young Mozambican innovators have created a platform that allows professionals to know or estimate, calculate and share their salaries, where the crucial objective of technological innovation is to give precise information to those who intend to enter a profession, knowing in advance their value depending on years of experience, industry or sector.
Denominated Wei, the technological solution contains data for various professional areas, with emphasis on Computer Engineering, Art Direction, Design, Health, among others, according to Ivan Billa, one of the founders of the project.

With the platform, users can estimate, search and compare salary data (based on surveys completed by the community) from various sectors, so that they can “also impact this cause by sharing your salary data anonymously”, informs in an official statement.
Another objective in the creation of Wei is to eliminate the taboo when it comes to salary and through technology to promote more transparency and less misinformation, as it compiles data from surveys carried out by the team from 2019 to 2021 among the community of professionals in Mozambique , with special attention to computer engineers.
