The Núcleo d'Art de Moçambique will have its entire collection digitalised, according to the words of its President, Celestino Madualane, where the idea is to give a new look to the home of Mozambican artists, reveals the newspaper Notícias.

According to the ceramist, designer and professor Madualane, in an interview with the Mozambican newspaper, he said that this measure is to fit the association into the digital world, in order to keep up with the new dynamics, driven by the development of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). .

The President informed that the first step in digitizing the collection is the creation of a digital platform for the institution, where all information about the association and registered artists will be available.

It was also revealed that this platform will also serve to sell works and internationalize the home of visual artists in the country, and the already existing platform “Tela”, created last year by a collective of cultural houses in Maputo, with the aim of support and promote the work of national artists, thus contributing to the already existing favorable conditions from the creation to the distribution of their products.
