One of the reasons that many users prefer competing operating systems, read: iOS, is the lack of update of Android. Explaining better, the issue of fragmentation in the update of Android, since it depends on each manufacturer.
Google makes updates available well in advance, however manufacturers have their planning in which they involve the date the equipment was launched, region where it is located ... among others. Which company updates faster: Samsung, LG, Motorola?
Company Apteligent made a statistic to find out which is the manufacturer that sends system updates to users faster. In addition to this information, the company also investigated which manufacturers have the least problematic devices.
As a research base, the Android Lollipop for Android Marshmallow. Two groups were identified:
- Companies that update the devices within three months after the release of the operating system
- Companies that take more than five months to upgrade the operating system
Winner:
Because of Nexus smartphones, Motorola was considered the fastest.
Who deserves more attention?
Motorola, LG and HTC meet the requirements, updating in up to 3 months. Samsung and Sony are up for five months, and lastly ZTE is the slowest.
As for the reliability in the operation of the devices, Sony has the most reliable devices. With more than 35 device types and an average of 0,08% of anomalies. See the performance of other companies:
