Jimmy Donaldson's YouTube channel – better known as MrBeast – managed to reach 100 million subscribers, becoming the fifth channel to achieve this feat. However, MrBeast is only the second person to achieve this milestone.

Although (so far) only the YouTuber PewDiePie having managed to reach 100 million subscribers, the pages of T-Series, Cocomelon and SET India have also reached this number. In the case of MrBeast, the youtuber reached 100 million subscribers in the company of spectators, with a special broadcast this Thursday, the 28th.

"Reaching 100 million members means a lot to me. I've been making videos since I was 11 years old. In a way, this number represents everything I've done in my life and I'm very grateful to everyone who has ever seen a video of me. I hope to continue making videos for the YouTube until dead", can be read in MrBeast's statement shared by Mashable.

BUT: Are you a content creator on Youtube? The Black Voices Fund program is waiting for you

In order to mark the arrival at this level, the MrBeast channel will receive on the 4th of August what the youtuber describes as his most expensive video ever. However, the youtuber notes that, from now on, he intends to continue producing the same type of videos that he has shared so far.

"I just wanted to say that no matter how much I grow, I will never have a mansion, a yacht, a Lamborghini, etc. All I want is to make the best videos I can and help as many people as I can while doing it.", declared the youtuber.
