MultiCaixa Express reaches 1 million users. See what has changed in the app

O Multicaixa Express, an interbank payment application made available by EMIS through the association of several multicaixa cards with a mobile phone number, reached the milestone of 1.000.000,00 of users, according to an official statement from the company.

Launched in April 2019, the application aims to be the most important vehicle for promoting banking access and the massification of electronic payments.

With this application it is possible to pay for various services such as charging your cell phone, paying bills, paying for television and internet subscriptions, buying plane tickets, energy recharges, at the same time as allowing you to check balances and movements, make transfers and orders cardless withdrawal.

BUT: EMIS blames “asymmetric” geographic distribution for long ATM queues

2019. Allows online payments;

2019. Implements obtaining the 2nd copy of the proof;

2020. Adds personal data management (email address to send proof);

2020.  Inclusion of the balance in the movement query;

2021. Reinforces its strong authentication mechanisms with multiple factors (Membership only with the mobile phone number registered with your bank);

2022. Reinforces its security mechanisms;

2023. Allows you to add new cards without going to the ATM;
