Huawei always has above-average presentations at the fairs it participates in. For Mobile World Congress 2023, one of the largest technology fairs in the world, the Chinese manufacturer spared no effort.

For those who visit the first MWC 2023 pavilion, there is no way not to notice a huge stand of 9.000 m² (a 33% increase in space compared to the last editions of the fair).

Huawei came to show its strength in Europe, since the North American market has now become practically impossible. Huwaei's strengths include trends and innovative solutions in information and communications technology, 5G projects and applications, the 5.5G era, the future with 6G and the use of green technologies for a more sustainable economy.

Between the pavilions, the Chinese company set up “laboratories” to show how its technology can be sustainable in terms of energy.

5G success stories

12 success stories are being shown that show the impact of 5G on the economy.

As for the future, even though there is still not a high penetration rate for 5G, Huawei talks about 5.5G, the intermediate generation, with better performance than 5G, without drastically increasing investment by operators.

On display are technologies such as F5G (Fixed 5G) and FTTR (fiber-to-the-room), ultra-speed, low-latency fiber optic networks for homes, offices and industrial facilities.

For when the 6G?

The sixth generation of connectivity, based on intelligence, should start to be implemented from 2025. An interesting fact is that companies are betting on the “extinction” of the internet of things, starting to focus on the “intelligence of things”.

It is clear that the Chinese manufacturer would not go to a fair without taking its best known gadgets, they are available for visitors to test.

Huawei partners were also present, with several debates and presentations scheduled for the 4-day event.
