The technological multinational Huawei will rehabilitate the computer room at the Welwitschia Mirabilis school, in the province of Namibe, based on a contract signed with the Office of the First Lady of Angola.
According to what was revealed to journalists, the contract that was signed by the Director of the Office of the Priemira Dama, Dr. Ana Aleixo Fernandes and the Deputy CEO of Huawei Angola, Wu Kui, fall within the social rights of the Chinese company to support projects of a social nature and community development, as well as the granting of internal scholarships and training in the area of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies), mainly for young Angolan women.

The rehabilitation of the computer room at the Welwitschia Mirabilis school will last for 2 months, thus allowing the students of the next academic year, 2022/23, to take advantage of the technological skills of the space.
It also informs that Huawei will also supply desktop computers, router, switches, servers, projectors, cabinet, air conditioning and tables in the school's computer room.
