The latest data shows that Edge has been growing on the internet and gaining followers. It has grown in use and is becoming an increasingly interesting proposition, having now surpassed the target of 11%.
Despite not being well received by many, Microsoft's decision to create a new browser seems to be working. It took Chromium as a base and advanced with its proposal and its functionalities, always looking at integration with Windows and what it can offer.
The most recent data from StatCounter reveal an interesting growth of Edge in the browser market. At the end of November it was already at 11,17%, a much higher value than the 9,52% obtained in November last year.
Justifying the growth must be a big bet by Microsoft in its browser. Along with the developments created for Windows 11, the software giant also bet on Edge and created several new features that are now available to users.

With the jump, the Edge managed to stand out from its most direct competitor. We are talking about Firefox, which now has 7,1% market share. In the list of browsers, and between the 2, follows Safari, with a share of 9,59% in this market.
Far away, and with a total domain when it comes to Internet browsers, we have the Chrome🇧🇷 This proposal from Google already has 66,13% market share and does not seem to be losing ground in this field. As a curiosity, and further and further away, we have IE, which still has 0,3%.
This is good news for Microsoft and your browser. Edge gains a prominent position, escaping direct competition and assuming itself more and more as a proposal for users, especially for those who make Windows their system of choice.
